As a self-taught artist, I've always had a passion for embroidery and the beauty it can bring to everyday objects. I started Mehtap's Store at the age of 55, after raising my twins, to showcase my love of the craft. Bright, colorful designs are my specialty, and I love the challenge of both traditional and new stitch techniques. My works have been featured in popular embroidery and stitch magazines both in the United States and Europe, and I am proud of the acclaim I've received.
